com1.Disinfect retardant
Since OPP and its sodium salt are nontoxic, odorless, of high phytocidal activity, good disinfecting and mould-inhibiting properties, they can be used as antiseptic, used for fruits and vegetables especially mandarins to inhibit mould, and used to treat lemons, pineapples, melons, apples, pears, peaches, tomatoes, etc, to protect them from putrefying to the greatest extent.
2.The dyeing carrier of synthetic fiber
The OPP and its water-soluble sodium salt can be used as fuel carrier of the polyester fiber, and carrier of hydrophobic synthetic fibers such as chloro fiber or terylen, etc when carrier dyeing is adopted. Adopting OPP as dyeing carrier can lower the dyeing temperature of the polymer and raise color fastness. OPP can also consumedly improve the swelling of fibers. Through swelling treatment, stereoscopic grain can be formed, and the crease resistance of fibers can also be improved.
3.Synthesize new phosphorous fire retardant agent and fire retardant material
With OPP as raw material, new phosphorous fire retardant DOPO can be synthesized, which is a kind of very important chemical product and organic intermediate with wide usage. As a reactive fire retardant intermediate, it can be used to synthesize high molecular fire retardant materials such as polyester, fire retardant epoxy resin, polycarbonate polycarbonate and bismaleimide, used to synthesize coloring stabilizer, rust preventative, antioxidant, polymer stabilizer, optical material, and used to improve the organic dissolving property, fire resistance and so on of high polymers.
4.It can be used as carrier and dye intermediate for hydrophobic synthetic fibers and terylen carrier dyeing method; it can also be used as heat stabilizer and surface active agent for plastic. Moreover, this product can be used in auxiliary agents of robber industry and chemicals for photographing, and used to produce non-ionic emulsifier and synthetic dyes, etc.
